About this ebook

Life is made of moments. What are you doing to make the most of them? In Moment Maker, Carlos Whittaker shows you how to make each moment count, so those moments add up to a life rich with meaning, deeply satisfying, and full of purpose.

Every day we have an opportunity to make our lives meaningful, to make them matter. Yet, for so many of us, we let too much of life happen without taking notice.

For author, speaker, and podcaster Carlos Whittaker, living deliberately has become a way of life. Making moments that are significant, memorable, or impactful are a part of how he navigates each day, and it has forever changed the landscape of his story.

In Moment Maker, Carlos shares powerful stories and examples from ordinary life, as well as insights from Scripture, that have formed his practical and meaningful game plan for living on purpose and with purpose. In these pages, he will guide you to:

  • Increase awareness of your surroundings, the people you encounter, and the needs of others
  • Recognize opportunities that present themselves and be encouraged to seize them
  • Discover how to create, receive, and rescue key moments in everyday life
  • Unlock the satisfaction of living to the full depth of your life's potential

The beauty of having a moment-making life is that it does not require a big investment of time, energy, or money. It simply requires a commitment to pay attention. All around you there are opportunities to meet a need, shift your focus, and begin healing. It is time to become a Moment Maker.

I did not know about Carlos until I watched the YouTube video of "God of Second Chances" with a homeless man that was being shared on Facebook. I am a picky reader and this was a great read! Very inspiring, touching, and funny. Great job Mr. Whittaker, keep up the amazing work you are doing for the glory of God. Can't wait to read your next one.

Carlos really knocked it out of the park here. Honesty seeps from every page. Through scripture, and his experiences, has come this awesome concept of the "moment", and the value that life gains with them. The emphasis this book places on principles like thoughtfulness, patience, and trust in God all speak to the way my mind operates. Or more specifically; the ways my mind usually falls short, and some ways to progress in those areas. Read this book. Take a second to think about it, then go make moments.

About the author

Carlos Whittaker is bringing hope to humans all over the world. And he’s pretty good at it: he’s an author, podcaster, and global speaker backed by the power of a massive Instafamilia, his enthusiastic social followers who tune in daily to join forces with Carlos to find connection, do good, and be in community. When Carlos enters a room, he makes people feel seen. His superpower is creating spaces—online and in-person—where people are safe to engage in conversation about the topics that matter most but are often avoided. His motto: don’t stand on issues, walk with people. That’s the professional stuff—but all day every day, Carlos is a family man. He and his wife Heather live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their three amazing children, where you can find them working on the family farm, planning trips around the world, and dancing to Single Ladies (seriously, Google it).
