Eerie Edmonton is an enjoyable book of stories about haunted sites in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. These stories are well researched and have a historical background to support the haunting claims. There are accounts from numerous people, stories passed down throughout the years, accounts from a psychic, and investigations done by the author. This is an interesting read and has now added Edmonton to the list of places I would like to visit in the next couple of years. I have never had an encounter that could not be explained by normal occurrences but I do love a good ghost story. Let us just say I am a skeptic but enjoy the paranormal, especially ghost type. This book was awesome because, first, Rhonda Parrish is an awesome author and she brought such sensibility to this book that I was able to enjoy it without becoming annoyed at somethings that often are said when people just want to believe in something and ignore other possibilities. But this book has a lot to make me think as well. I also loved reading about the history of Edmonton and I loved this book. Eerie Edmonton by Rhonda Parrish is a great story to read. I was not sure when I opened up this book what I was gonna read or if I was going to like it. I am so glad I took that chance on reading this story cause I really enjoyed reading it and can not wait to read more from this author. I recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about non fiction, horror and history in their stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
