About the author

W. J. Manares a. k. a. Willer Jun Araneta Manares is a one-of-a-kind persona in the literary scene of Aklan, Philippines. He existed since June 1, 1985 up to present. A lesser-known writer and worldbuilder who was highly influenced by the Superstar, Piers Anthony. W. J. Manares is labeled as, "the sardonic yet whimsical author/writer of the Philippines." He's a member of "The Aklan Literati," a local organization of Aklanon writers/authors in their province. His 17 Books, "BetLog," "Tanaga, Diyona... Dalit?," "Flashbacks of Flashforwards (SF)," "OTNEWUK," "Isa Sa Ilang Paraan," "Owa't Tawo," "Pusikit (SF)," "The Extracted," "Playing in Secret Solitude," "Ang Bulbul atbp.," "Poesy for Poseidon," "Shiverses," "Rose for Diana," "Mekus Mekus," "Waterhen (SF)," "Pilang ka Sugid-sugid sa Bibi it Akean," and "Spill the Beans" are published by Ukiyoto Publishing. He recently edited and compiled 10 Anthologies including this one and also "Omni-Verses: Interplanetary Poesies," a curious collection of Science Fiction poems from around the world. When not writing, he's in his own library, reading and stacking his collection of books up on the shelves again and again. He loves the taste of cinnamon sometimes. He enjoys living his peculiar life near the gateway to the paradise island of Boracay.

Binod Dawadi, the author of The Power of Words, holds a master's degree in English. He has worked on numerous anthologies and been published in various magazines. His vision is to change society through knowledge, so he wants to provide enlightenment to people through his writing skills.

Christopher T. Dabrowski is a writer / scriptwriter from Poland.

Shirley Smothers is an amateur writer, artist, and poet. She mostly writes short stories. Some of her stories can be viewed at [email protected]

Eric Esquivel lives in a pulp hack from Los Angeles, California. His previous clients include Archie, DC Comics, Dynamite, Heavy Metal Magazine, IDW, Red Games, Scholastic, Starlite Pulp, and TidalWave Productions. He hopes to have made Santa’s “Nice” list this year…but he isn’t holding his breath about it.

Mimi Bordeaux is a writer living in Melbourne Australia and writing furiously. 

Joe Stout is an east Tennessee based writer who focuses on short stories and flash fiction. When he’s not writing, he enjoys exploring the mountains and spending time with his children.

R .C. Capasso loves stories of hope and imagination. When not writing, R. C. travels, reads, and studies Italian. Short stories have appeared in Bewildering Stories, Literally Stories, Zooscape, Teleport Magazine, Spaceports and Spidersilk, and Fiction on the Web, as well as online and print anthologies.

Lilse Asalt is a horror and romance author. Her work includes: Dead End Florals and CEO of My Heart. She is a member of Codex, Indian Writers Association and the Horror Writers Association. She is currently working on her debut amazon series.
