The Perks of Loving a Scoundrel "Seduction Diaries"#3 by Jennifer McQuiston is another delightful addition to this amazing series! Well written with well-developed characters and an intriguing storyline. Filled with adventure, an assassination plot, dangers, secrets, romance and love. Set during Queen Victoria's reign. Geoffrey Westmore, London’s most notorious scoundrel finds himself in the arms of the charming, yet, tight-laced Miss Mary Channing, a scandal, an indiscretion and a dangerous assassination plot, that may reach the highest of ton's society. But can they fight the biggest threat of all, love and a HEA? If Mary and Geoffrey don't work together, they may lose all, including their lives. Ms. McQuiston is an amazing and talented storyteller, who pulls readers into her stories and captures their hearts. She never fails to astound and mesmerize me, nor does she ever disappoint me. I was thrilled with "The Perks of Loving a Scoundrel". I thought she couldn't top her last story, I was wrong, she definitely has written another intriguing Historical Romance. A definite must read and an awesome addition to her "Seduction Diaries" series. For a seductively dangerous tale, pick up "The Perks of Loving a Scoundrel". Magnificent storytelling! Received for an honest review from Edelweiss. However, all opinions, insights and thoughts are my own personal opinions. Rating: 4.5 Heat rating: Mild Reviewed by: AprilR

Two words come to mind when describing The Perks of Loving a Scoundrel. Pure escapism. Ms. McQuiston created a romance as epic as the characters who lived it. Mary lives her dreams through the pages of her favorite books, but has yet to experience all the emotions that her stories evoke in reality. She unwittingly lands in the middle of her own adventure when she meets Geoffrey. Her reality becomes full of twists that could rival any of her novels. Jennifer McQuistion did a stellar job. "Truth is indeed stranger than fiction" and she played that plot line to the max. It's not often that a story is centered around a heroine who a love of books, that in itself appealed to me. With easily identifiable main characters and a thrilling story, it was a no brainer for me : 5 stars. Copyright of Night Owl Reviews
