I enjoyed reading this story because it involved Michigan where I was born and lived until I retired. I found the story interesting and had a difficult time putting down. I also like that it was a short read. The plot was interesting and the love angle makes me want more of what that will develop into.

I enjoyed the story, but I also loved the way in which the author writes. A good read.

Emily James grew up watching TV shows like Matlock, Monk, and Murder She Wrote. (It’s pure coincidence that they all begin with an M.) It was no surprise to anyone when she turned into a mystery writer.
