This comic wasn't bad but it was not the epic "Return of the Ultimate Universe" that I thought it would be. it starts out strong with The Maker getting ready to leave the 616 and seeing him toy with his new Universe is cool, but for the remainder of the series focuses on Howard Stark and Obadiah Stain interacting with a bunch of other characters unique to this new Ultimate Universe and questioning what is going on. This feels like a prologue. There is also an epilogue one shot to this called Ultimate Universe #1" which is not on Google play at the time of writing this and it is kind of important to read that if you want the full story but don't have too. If you plan on reading the current ongoing Ultimate books then definitely read this so you have all the context. If you just casually want to see what this new Ultimate Universe is then just pick up Ultimate Spider-Man with the assumption you will have some questions. If Ultimate Universe #1 was included I would give this 4 stars.
