Leo had been alone for a long time. Centuries, to be exact. A huntress, a lion, and a fated mates romance. Leo and Aislinn meet in an unusual way, and it's not one that would normally be conducive to romance, but that doesn't stop this pair. It is a novella, so the story is fast-paced and a quick read. It's also full of sweet and sexy romance with a great twist that I certainly didn't see coming. The characters are likable and I love that we get a real feel for them as the story progresses. This one comes together a little different than most fated mates romances, but for these characters, it just works. All in all, another entertaining and engaging shifter romance from Becca Fanning.

Leo & Aislinn Leo is a lion shifter who is also a butcher. Aislinn is a photographer and likes to hunt. She recently lost her dad and is out hunting. Leo is on his way home in his lion form. Aislinn is shocked and shoots him with her bow and arrow. These two are destined.. I really enjoyed this book, Ms Becca doesn't let us down with this new one. I voluntarily agreed to review this product. My review is entirely my own opinion.

I found this lion shifter romance quite interesting & intriguing to read. It is about a lion shifter (Leo) who is accidentally shot while in his lion form by a huntress (Aislinn) who helps him and then promptly follows him home. These two become involved with each other but Leo becomes doubtful about the relationship and leaves to visit a friend (Brian) There is: intrigue, some twists & turns, drama, memories, verbal banter, doubts, explanations, advice, physical conflict, threats, realization, mates, confrontation, betrayal, despair, sadness, desire, well-meaning deceit, happiness, some steam and a satisfying ending.
