This heartfelt and humorous novel, more women’s fiction than rom com, features likable, sometimes whimsical characters and a deeply emotional plot. Hannah has to reinvent herself and consciously decide what she wants for herself and her son. River is supportive but also has his own issues. It’s a struggle, and I wasn’t always sure what choices she would make. The audiobook narration is enjoyable, and the story an entertaining and satisfying read. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.
