About this ebook

Katherine Parker is on the cusp of having everything she ever wanted--fame, money, and acclaim. So why isn't she happy? In search of answers, she comes incognito to Hope Harbor on the Oregon coast for some R&R. Maybe in her secluded rental house overlooking the serene Pacific she'll be able to calm the storm inside.

Coffee shop owner Zach Garrett has found his niche after a traumatic loss--and he has no plans to change the life he's created. Nor does he want to get involved with his reticent new neighbor, whose past is shrouded in mystery. He's had enough drama to last a lifetime. But when Katherine and Zach are recruited to help rehab a home for foster children, sparks fly. And as their lives begin to intersect, might they find more common ground than they expected . . . and discover that, with love, all things are possible?

Bestselling and award-winning author Irene Hannon invites you to come home to Hope Harbor--where hearts heal . . . and love blooms.

Blackberry Beach by Irene Hannon is the 7th A Hope Harbor Novel. It can be read as a standalone for those new to the series. I did find Blackberry Beach to be a slow starter. I had a difficult time getting into the story. I think it would have been beneficial if the reason for Katherine being in Hope Harbor had been revealed earlier. Once I was about halfway through, I found the tale more appealing and my interest began to be engaged. I enjoyed the descriptions of the beach, the town, and Katherine’s chocolate creations. Hope Harbor is a charming town with friendly residents. I especially liked Charley and the seagulls (Floyd and Gladys). I appreciated the epilogue which nicely wrapped up the storylines. This is a nice, clean Christian romance (no intimate situations or bad language). Three of the themes in Blackberry Beach of second chances, forgiveness, and redemption. It was great that there was a later in life romance (gives me hope). This is a Christian tale that is never preachy. I like how the author incorporated Faith and God into the story. Blackberry Beach is a good book to read while relaxing by the pool.

BLACKBERRY BEACH...#7 Hope Harbor Irene Hannon Zach stepped away from his multi millionaire deals of striving for the top as his father and aunt have their whole life . With his dad it was you sit and listen, no discussion as to why he did, a rift of three years. Zach has a barista shop a place of respite for people from their cares and worries . A mysterious woman Kat, has come to find sanctuary and peace from a life of fame, chaos and demands from others has taken a toll. Wanting someone to talk to, to listen to what her dreams had been and the predicaments she feels now. A pastors words of having trust in God, and having faith in the one she loves. With her spare time could it be in the wild blackberries that melt in one’s mouth when in season as a chocolatier A story that is tender and heartwarming it touches you as Kat is seeking. . Wanting a life of peace and love. Good flowing plot that one will enjoy reading. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion for Net Galley and Revell..

Book 7 of the Hope Harbor series and Irene Hannon is still going strong! This series is one of those that just gets under your skin in the best way. I thoroughly enjoyed returning to the town of Hope Harbor and visiting old friends. Hannon has done a wonderful job creating not just a town, but a community. It made me smile when Floyd, Gladys, and friends reappeared and though I've never had a fish taco before, I imagine Charlie's are the best. Katherine and Zach's relationship felt neither rushed nor forced, and I really enjoyed watching it progress. Combined with a host of wonderful supporting characters, this story will draw you in and have you planning a beachside trip to Oregon. Faith filled, refreshing and fun, Blackberry Beach can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you don't miss out...read the whole series! *I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own and I was not compensated in any way.
