This story takes place after "Mad Dog". While not really necessary, I suggest reading these books in order. This will help you understand Mason's backstory. There's a lot of chemistry between Mason and his "angel in blue scrubs" Callie. While this chemistry provides plenty of heat, the action in this story provides the adrenaline needed to get to the HEA. This story starts with the end of "Mad Dog" where he is in the hospital. This is Mason and Callie' story. It is a stand alone read with some connected characters. I enjoyed this story! It is twisted, dark and gritty but very interesting and intriguing. I love the characters and interactions between them. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. I really love how this one developed.
