This book is one of my favorites from Stefanie London! She has a knack for creating characters you can empathize with and care about, and I really liked Scout and Lane. They met in Vegas and married very, very quickly, and it didn't take long for things to fall apart. However, they never divorced despite neither of them expecting to see the other again. The second chance romance between them was woven nicely with the work Scout does with her best friend Isla, and the family issues she also faced. I felt so much for everything she had experienced and how her family life affected her views on love, self worth, and relationships. The writing and storytelling hooked me from the first page and I had a hard time putting the book down. The plot was original and fun, but also emotional and sweet. I highly recommend both this book and the first one in the series!

Second chance for Scout and Lane! Once they got the past baggage out in the open, the healing began. It turns out that the grandparents weren’t as bad as initially thought. Wonderful ending!

Second in this sweet, fun series. This story has all the feels and laughs, I fell for Scout and Lane, who start out at a rocky disadvantage, then work their way to adulting and making the most of their past mistakes and misunderstandings. A well written book, consider grabbing the whole series, both are great enjoyable reads.
