About this ebook

Love Nick and Charlie from Heartstopper? Meet Arthur and Ben! From INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING authors Adam Silvera (They Both Die At The End) and Becky Albertalli (Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda) comes a long-awaited collaboration about two very different boys who can't decide if the universe is pushing them together or pulling them apart.

Soon to be a feature film, adapted by the creator of 13 Reasons Why!

Meet Arthur and Ben.

ARTHUR is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.
BEN thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.

But when the boys have a chance meeting at the post office, they leave wondering what exactly the universe does have in store for them.

What if - in a city of eight million people - they can't find each other again?

What if they do ... and then can’t nail a first date even after three do-overs?

What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?

What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?

But what if it is? What if it's us?

PRAISE FOR WHAT IF IT'S US:

'Romantic, realistic and sweet, this perfectly captures New York, teenage love and life in that gray area when you're not quite an adult and not quite a child either.' Lauren James, author of The Loneliest Girl in the Universe

PRAISE FOR ADAM SILVERA:

'A phenomenal talent.' Juno Dawson, author of Clean and Wonderland

PRAISE FOR BECKY ALBERTALLI:

'The love child of John Green and Rainbow Rowell.' Teen Vogue

Okay, to be honest, I'm frustrated with this cliffhanger open ending! And I don't even know if there will be a sequel of this novel. I picked up this book in a bookshop last month, and just started reading it few days ago. I expected that this novel will be fluffy angsty teen fiction with a happy ending (yeah because I'm a sucker for MM happy ending stories). But kinda disappointed because of the open ending. I want a closure! I want to sigh in happiness because the main characters got their happily ever after. One more thing that I have to admit, I can't picture Ben and Arthur physical appearances even if my life depends on it. Maybe I missed few details, or maybe there is no details. I mean, all Ben and Arthur said about each other is cute. Heck, cute is pretty relative you know! Are they Tom Holland cute or Noah Centineo cute? I wish the authors gave more details so I can picture them and let my imagination run wild when I read their interactions.

This is one of if not the best YA romance novels I've read. I laughed, I cried, I even cringed at some points (not at the writing its just written so well I feel second hand embarrassment from the situations the characters gets into) and I couldn't put it down! When I had to turn off my phone I was longing to keep reading just to see what happens! Ben and Arthur are amazing characters, thank god for Juliet, Namrata, Dylan and Sam and the parents as well as Arthur's friends from home are written in just a way that I can both love and loathe them as the characters do! If you want some great YA romance this book is your best bet!

Very cute and easy to read. I really enjoyed the premise and the tension at the start of 'will they won't they'. The love wasn't completely believable, but maybe that's because it's a long time since I was a teenager!
