About this ebook

Brenna Strachan is getting ready to turn 30. For a demon, this is the time of maturing. She’ll gain all her demon powers and have eternity to learn to use them. But maturing has a drawback, for the next month, she’s mortal.
Prophesy says she’ll become one of the most powerful beings on Earth. There’s a long list of beings who fear and loathe the power that Brenna might gain and are willing to take advantage of her status as a mortal.

However, when one of her own family members is involved in plotting her death, it’s becomes about more than just survival.

I felt the story in this first book had a lot of noise and very less depth. Too many people were trying to talk about the same thing and sharing their opinion which took up more number of pages than required. Brenna was chaotic. As the first book I think it has failed to set the stones rolling. I am a fan of Hadena's Dream series and felt someone else has plotted for this main charactes and storyline. Hoping the second book is better.

MS. James you are an exceptional storyteller! You books are different and fun to read. I don't believe the reviews are helpful at. I don't care about the misspellings or grammatical errors. I want to read a book for the store and how well it was told! I have just finished the second Dream series and again it was an exceptional story. I enjoyed this book as well and can't wait till I can buy more. I'm 68 years old and if I wanted to have an English lesson in would go to college some more I don't. Thanks for the good stories and keep up the good work. Joy

The story itself is very interesting. The execution leaves something to be desired. This book seriously needs a proofreader and editor; while the poor grammar is easier to get past, a lot of the dialog simply does not flow - it comes off as forced and unnatural, as if written by a high schooler, and really disrupts the flow of the story. Hell, even Cerberus is misspelled through the book. 5 stars for the story and idea; 2 stars for the actual writing.
