Characters were a little too much in the beginning. Rough and gruff ex Navy Seal and sassy and smart mouthed overweight neighbour. I stuck with it because the overall story is filled with enough emotion and angst on both parts. Excellent writting that pierces the heart of the reader.

Good story, love the characters except for Joe. My heart broke for Verna, she may 4give him but, I never will ;)

This is a wonderful book, i love to read and stories like this makes me want to know whats going to happen next. I would recommend that other read this live story as well!
