From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author comes the next book in the Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team.

Trust Laramie Briscoe to provide engaging characters in a well-built world I want to revisit again and again. Carly Phillips, NY Times bestselling author.

The Nurse and The Hot Cop

Archer Gray

Being the new officer on the Laurel Springs Police Department has been a blessing. They've treated me like family since the moment I started my first shift. It's what I've wanted since I left home at eighteen. Life is going amazing, especially when I meet Alisa, a nurse at Laurel Springs Medical. She's saucy, but I suspect it hides a vulnerability not many get to see.

I want to see it, want to know everything about her. In a moment where she desperately needs someone, I'm there for her.

And I won't leave until she asks me to.

Alisa Hilligan

I've always been a transplant, searching for a home. I thought I found it in Calvert City, instead it's the neighboring town Laurel Springs.

Since I've been here I've met the new hot cop, Archer. He makes me want everything I shouldn't.

But when the reason I left Calvert City comes back with a vengeance; I'll need him more than I ever thought.

And he'll prove he's here for the long haul - something no one else ever has.

Archer & Alisa 3.5 stars I liked the plot especially Alisa's reason for moving, the way Alisa decided to agree to a date at last & the ease of their relationship but overall I felt it was too short & lacked the backstory I'm used to by this author. They had great chemistry & if you want a shorter, less angsty LSERT book than usual it is perfect. I just wanted more.

Wow, another amazing book! When nurse Alisa moves to Laurel Springs, she meets cop Archer who protects her when trouble comes a calling. Action, suspense and a brilliant romance carried this book. Alpha Alisa and Archer are a couple who don't trust too easily but their attraction came on fast and strong. This is a must read book, well written, amazing characters and a thrill ride of a plot. Very well done!!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a bit different to others in this series. Whilst it concentrates on couple, Archer, police officer with LSERT, and Alisa, nurse with the local ER team, it is more focused on the female character. Each has their reasons for avoiding a permanent relationship. Each has their issues with family. When they do eventually get together, Archer promises never to let Alisa down and be there for her. The police officers were her reason for leaving Calvert County to relocate to Laurel Springs. Looking over her shoulder, her fears catch up with her in the form of Officer Fugate and her need for, and reliance on Archer comes to the fore. LSERT support is not far behind and Alisa's decision and determine sets change in motion. It is a short storyline, so some readers may find something missing or lacking because it is not as detailed or involved as others in series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
