Sowmya Sailendra is a Visual Arts & Design Innovation graduate who is passionate
about story telling. Sowmya feels there is magic and beauty everywhere, and her books are an extension of her artistic journey. She is generally curious in life and has learnt a lot about artistic expression, storytelling, and sustainability from the many grandparents that have been part of her life growing up - she often felt they waved their magic hands and beautiful things just appeared and those things somehow solved all the world’s problems. Caw-Caw of Feelings is a whimsical book which discusses the interactions
between a common cow, a street dog, a stray cat, and a crow. It discusses
mental health and well-being with a background of fun and playfulness;
keeping a heavy topic light enough for toddlers. The different activities the
friends do together is inspired from the 4 happy hormones and brain chemicals.
