About this ebook

This book presents the conditions to become and remain a disciple of the Lord Jesus.

The Lord Jesus had never intended to make converts. He has always wanted to make disciples. He has given the opportunity to those who are truly born again to become His disciples if they so desire. Thus, He has divided all true believers into two classes:

the disciples

the non-disciples.

This fundamental choice is clearly presented in this book.

The last part of the book presents the pitfalls that the disciple encounters on the way to the heavenly calling and these include the trap of

fundamental disobedience,

the love of the world,

the love of self,

the impurity of thoughts,

entangled emotions,

and many others.

Read this book. And may it bless you abundantly.

This book is one of the most important in the christian way series written by Prof. Fomum. Just like most books written by Prof. Fomum the language is clear and simple. Discipleship is the need of the hour. One of the greatest pitfalls of present day Christianity is the absence of Discipleship to Jesus and to man. The author presents our Lord Jesus Christ as the supreme example of discipleship. Nine conditions for becoming and continuing as a disciple are presented including a supreme love for Jesus and a supreme love for the brethren among others. Fulfilling the nine conditions is followed by total separation, renunciation, continuing in the reading and practicing of the word, fruit bearing and focusing on the upward call of God. This book is a complete practical manual for initiation and continuation in discipleship. I strongly recommend this book to every christian!
