Kater Cheek is a graduate of Clarion San Diego, class of 2007 and currently lives in the eastern United States. She writes all kinds of stuff, including short stories, novels, corporate communications, book reviews, tasteless (but hilarious) plays and a comic about chickens. Kater has two brown belts, has folk danced semi-professionally, taught English in Japan for two years, and spent five months backpacking alone through Europe. She has learned six languages and forgotten four of them.
