About the author
William Francis Nolan was an American author who was best known for writing stories in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. He coauthored (with George Clayton Johnson) the novel Logan's Run (1967). It was his first novel. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1976 horror film Burnt Offerings which starred Karen Black and Bette Davis. Nolan was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 6, 1928. He attended the Kansas City Art Institute and worked for Hallmark Cards before becoming an author. Among his many awards, he was voted a Living Legend in Dark Fantasy by the International Horror Guild in 2002. During 2006, he was bestowed the honorary title of Author Emeritus by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. In 2010, he received the Lifetime Achievement Stoker award from the Horror Writers Association (HWA). William F. Nolan died on 7/15/2021 in Vancouver, WA. He was 93.
Author F. Paul Wilson was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on May 17, 1946. He has written over forty books and short story collections. He is best known for the Repairman Jack series and the Sims series. He won the Prometheus Award in 1979 for Wheels Within Wheels and in 2004 for Sims. He also won a 1984 Progie Award from the West Coast Review of Books for The Tomb, the Hall of Fame Award from the Libertarian Futurist Society in 1990 for Healer and in 1991 for An Enemy of the State, and the 1999 Bram Stoker Award for short fiction for Aftershock. His book The Keep was made into a film in 1983. In 2012 his title Nightworld made The New York Times Bestseller List.
Heather Graham is a pseudonym for Heather Graham Pozzessere. She is a USA Today and New York Times bestselling author who has written over one hundred novels. She has won the RWA's Lifetime Achievement Award and rhe The Thriller Writers' Silver Bullet. Her series include: Camerons Saga: North American Woman Trilogy, Camerons Saga: Civil War Trilogy, Donna Miro and Lorna Doria Series and MacAuliffe Vikings Trilogy.
Ron Goulart was born on January 13, 1933 in Berkeley, CA. Goulart has been a professional writer for over forty years and has published over 180 books. He is best-known for his mystery and science fiction books and is also considered the leading authority on comic books and strips. Goulart has been nominated twice for the Edgar Award. His first nomination was in the category of Best Original Paperback for his novel, After Things Fell Apart, in 1971. He was nominated again in 1989 in the category of Best Critical / Biographical work for his non-fiction work, The Dime Detectives. He also writes under the pseudonyms: Kenneth Robeson, Frank S. Shawn, Joseph Silva, and Con Steffanson.
