About this ebook

Like most kids, Alexander loves making art of all kinds. He gets such positive feedback from his family, friends and school (so many prizes!), he wants to keep them all! Forever! Fortunately for everyone, an intervention comes in the form of an old fairy tale, The Kingdom of Tides, in which King Shivo and his people learn a lot about creativity with the help of the Moon.

The Kingdom of Tides can be a source of practical (à la Marie Kondo) as well as metaphysical inspiration based on Hindu philosophy (inspired by the deity Shiva, the creator and destroyer of worlds) for the young (6-9 years old) and not so young to find joy in creating every day.

About the author

Will Wescott writes for children of all ages across a variety of genre including historical fiction, philosophy for kids, and climate change narratives. He is particularly interested in exploring our reality with the help of imagination and technology to help people live more fully. Will is inspired by youth, particularly his son, who help him realize his motto “a childhood lasts a lifetime!”
