Yilly & Lacie: Embracing our unique magic

My story began shortly after I completed the masters program for Cosmetology in 2012. I became a hairstylist for a year. I was intrigued by makeup and skincare that's when I decided to enroll Into a makeup academy and the educator's program. I became a freelance artist and taught skincare in the greater Atlanta area. From there, I continued to network which showcased my work in fashion shows, entertainment, and landed my first publication with a group of talented creators and artists with The Celebration Society Wedding Magazine Fall edition 2016.

​In 2018, I decided to branch off and navigate into the public health field. I completed my BS in healthcare administration in 2020. Prayer, yoga, and mediation helps me manage my inner thoughts, emotions, and mindfulness. I love to encourage others to welcome new experiences and never be afraid to try something new. As a mom with a teen daughter, I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities with my daughter. I love reading and finding new vegan foods while I travel.
