Under the ghostly silvery glow of a bashful moon hiding behind dispersing clouds, Henry made his way through the twisted path of Old Willow's Cemetery. It was a thick evening, where the air was as heavy as his heart, coming to visit his late wife, Mina's grave.

Henry heard the subtle crackling of dried leaves under his feet, synchronized with the rhythm of his pulsating heart, almost as if the earth shared in his sorrow. A chilly wind whistled through the weeping willow branches, bending to murmur secrets only the dead could fully comprehend.

He halted before the fresh mound of earth that held his beloved. A solitary, well-polished stone stood sentry with the words "Mina Whitlock - A Cherished Soul" etched into its face.

"Mina, my love, my heart feels as cold as the grave you now reside in," Henry whispered.

The rustling leaves gathered momentum as if responding to his desolation, and Henry felt something cold brush his neck.

"Is someone there?" he gulped, straining his eyes against the darkness that seemed to consume every source of light.
