“Dude, I cannot wait until Ryan gets here,” my boyfriend, Drew said for probably the millionth time today. “You’re going to love him.”


I smiled at him. “Well, I feel like I already know him the way you talk about him.”


Drew glanced over at me as he navigated airport traffic. ”Sorry babe,” he said sheepishly. “It’s just that I haven’t seen Ryan since we were at university together. He was my frat brother and best friend. We did all sorts of wild shit.”


“Of which I’m pretty sure you guys will rehash over and over,” I teased him. I reached over and patted his arm. “No worries, sweetie. I’m actually interested in hearing about all of your wild days in the frat.”


Drew actually turned red. “I don’t know. I think I’d better censor some of those stories about the good ole days.”


We broke off our conversation as we went into the terminal to find the gate Ryan said he’d come in at. I looked around, scanning the crowd for the person that would fit the description that Drew gave me.


“Drew?”


Drew turned around. “Ryan! What’s up man?” The two men embraced, slapping each other on the back.


“It’s good to see you,” Ryan said, looking Drew up and down. “I see you’ve been working out. You look great.”


Drew flexed his arms, making his biceps bulge. “Yeah well. I have to keep up with the physique. How am I going to tell these yungins to exercise and stay in football form if I’m the fat slacker?”


Laughing, Ryan nodded. “That’s true.” His eyes rested on me. “And who’s this beautiful lady? Your personal trainer?”


I smiled at him. “No, not his personal trainer.”


Drew slung an arm around my shoulders. “This is my girlfriend, Becca. Becca, this is my best friend and frat brother, Drew.”
