Acerca deste livro eletrónico

When an upstanding Duke and a desperate young widow are caught in a con, they both wind up losing their hearts in this “elegantly written” Regency romance (Booklist).

Instead, his resentful sibling forges his name to a marriage license and presents Marcus with an unwanted wife. A vicar’s widow with a mind of her own, she’s the first person in Marcus’s well-ordered life to make him feel . . . completely out of control.

Reluctantly, Hannah agrees to play the wife until he can sort out the mess. But the undeniably attractive Duke unsettles her well-guarded heart—making her want to do so much more than “act” the role of blissful bride . . .

Acerca do autor

Caroline Linden was born a reader, not a writer. She earned a math degree from Harvard University and wrote computer software before turning to writing fiction. Ten years, twelve books, three Red Sox championships, and one dog later, she has never been happier with her decision. Her books have won the NEC Reader's Choice Beanpot Award, the Daphne du Maurier Award, and RWA's RITA Award. Since she never won any prizes in math, she takes this as a sign that her decision was also a smart one. Visit her at carolinelinden.com.
