This book was steamy!!! Pistol had a hard life and finally earned his way onto a football team to only have it ruined by his father, living out of his vehicle and then 6 years in prison because of his dad. Bryce saved him and helped him back on his feet and they both FINALLY gave into eachothers love for one another. Such a good book and perfect plot!.

I loved reading this book. The story was riveting from the beginning. It was a sweet and steamy second chance romance. The characters were well-developed even though this was a relatively short story. I liked the back and forth between the MC’s. They were friends to lovers with a long time span between seeing each other. It was good to see that he was not only remorseful for doing wrong, but also for all but abandoning his friend. Bryce was a good man and worthy of love. They made a good couple.

Criminally Scandalous is an intense story that gripped me at the pain and struggles that Pistol went through, some of his choice, other by circumstance. I love the strength Bryce showed to stand up and be there for Pistol, not only when they were in college, but after. Amazingly written story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
