Blake Spencer, Marquess of Ardmore, decides to attend a Christmastide house party out of sheer boredom. A friend persuades him that it might prove a good diversion. He is uncertain, until he realizes that a seemingly insignificant wallflower harbors Machiavellian plans that make it all worthwhile. Her games intrigue him, and before he realizes it, she has ensnared him in a trap he never anticipated.
Some games are well worth playing, particularly when, in the end, love is the true victor.

Part of the Revenge of the Wallflowers. What a beautiful cover. Wallflower Miss Emma Collins and Blake Spencer, Marquess of Ardmore's story had me smiling at somethings. A well written Christmas story that held my interest. I would like to see this in Audible. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an exciting and well written love story. Walflowers, a Christmas party, a snowball fight, mistletoe, and revenge kept me very entertained. The characters were delightful and interesting. I enjoyed the delicious romance and the beautiful ending. I highly recommend reading!

This is a short read. This is Emma and Blake's story. She has her brother have a Christmas party so she can get revenge? Can all her planning work? Or will it backfire on her? Blake is her brothers friend and is at the party. What will happen when he follows her around to figure out what she is doing? Will more come of it? Will he prevent her from her revenge?.
