Keeps the mystery and tension alive Whit, a private investigator, is branching out with Anna, his former teaching assistant, to form their own investigation agency after solving the case of her mother’s blackmailer. As the story progresses a new case lands in their lap, small town mentality prevails, and the culprit could be closer than they think. W.L. Knightly keeps the mystery and tension alive in Dare to be Wise. Whit and Anna are on quite the journey and I enjoy being along for the ride. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

I walked into this book blindly and I fell into it as if I was Alice through the looking glass. And there are definitely parts of the story that have a similarly surreal feeling about them. I particularly liked seeing the paranormal elements of this story play a more significant role than they have in most of the rest of the series so far. Though, the mystery is just as twisty and suspenseful as ever. Once again, the ending has left me kind of anxious to get my hands on whatever’s coming next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Whit finds resistance from the local sheriff. Another young boy is also missing. The sheriff has written it off to the boys running away. This series is very captivating and will keep you wanting more.
