About this ebook

Who— What am I?

When Lexi wakes up in a hospital room, she doesn’t even know her own name. But she does know one thing, she’d like the hot guy hovering over her bed to stick around. As she fights to regain her memories, she’s faced with a horrifying truth she doesn’t want—she can shift into a huge lion. And if that’s not enough of a shock, the sexy man who claims to be her mate can turn into a tiger.

Tristan is beside himself with worry over Lexi’s amnesia. The woman he wants to marry doesn’t recognize the love she has for him or the lion inside her. As he helps her heal physically and emotionally he battles with a secret he is afraid to reveal, because when the truth comes out he could lose her again. And this time it could be forever.

The rating really should be 4.5 stars. I more than liked it but it didn't quite make me love it. The plot was quite unusual, What would happen if a shifter got amnesia and didn't know what shifters were? And the resolution was most satisfactory and both protagonists needed personal growth and change to win through. If you accept a universe in which humans can shift shapes, it was realistic and I especially liked that the shifters were not confined to the stereotypical big cats, wolves, bears and dragons but included rabbits, house cats and others--no dragons, though. It brought to mind Whites "the Sword in the Stone" in which Merlin has Arthur turn into animals to teach him to see things from another point of view. It is altogether a quick easy read and a delightful way to while away 2-3 hours.
