This book had a lot of emotion packed into it. But it was so worth the read! I am so happy with how the author had both characters kind of take a "journey' together that changes them yet brings them closer to each other. I cried for these two. But I also enjoyed their story so much! The visuals the author put into my mind were so beautiful and made me feel like she wrote this story the best possible way she could. Anastasia had so much loss and pain, but Jumoke was perfect for her. This book also moves the story along and sets up three next book. I can't wait for Vander's story. I feel like his omega is going to make him work for their mating!

I have been following the amazing Alpha Elite series since its inception. VT Bonds has been flawless in her delivery of super intense books focused on Alphas warriors finding their fated Omega lifemates. This fourth installment is Jumoke's story and his unexpected journey to his Omega mate Anastasia. Unlike the other Alphas, Jumoke does not understand why his warrior brothers have succumbed to what he calls the 'weakness' of a mate. He cannot appreciate the intensity of the Alpha/Omega bond and does not yearn for it. Until he meets Omega lifemate, Anastasia. Jumoke is not the only one who wants to avoid the bond, Anastasia also wants nothing to do with a lifemate but for completely different reasons. As we get to know Anastasia and her heart wrenching story, we bleed alongside her and we mourn all her losses. We get to understand the gentle and selfless being she is, depriving herself of the precious Alpha love to save Jumoke from herself. Her delicate heart only highlights the strength of her soul. Jumoke is an unexpected surprise when he finally sees his Omega mate for what she is and what she means in his life. The journey they embark on is one filled with love, forgiveness, and redemption. I absolutely loved them and Jumoke has stolen my heart. I cant wait to see the the season finale.

This book is amazing...I love this series but this book was so raw with emotion and love. I thought I knew the characters and watched them develop from the other books but the emotional depth in these characters in this book was epic. The trauma that the character had suffered was real it had me crying, the love that was there between the two MC was so real and tortured at times. Jumoke had not been my favorite because of his attitude, his flippant ways, but you learn it's a shell. It took awhile to get there but I love him, he is wonderful with Anastasia. The trauma that Anastasia has suffered can be triggering so readers should be aware, however the intelligent, caring way that V.T. Bonds approaches it shows she understands how important the subject matter is and does a masterful job of working with it.
