The language books volume contains a large amount of words interpreted into the English wording of the auth board of writers readers and interpreters of English language; language for that reason for that same reason I am very happy to digest the translations stored within the publication a number of my appreciation is given to the authors and contributors for their processes of co ordering it's completion tanks to Yas .

It's not all bad for something that appears to be made in the 50s but not all words are relevant any more and some of the examples go from polite to abruptly rude on the same page. The worst thing is the way they chose to pronounce words. You would never work out the correct pronunciation or sentence stress using this. There are much more efficient books around if you want to get into Japanese. You can download aedict to get a Japanese dictionary with example sentences which is excellent.

Not good for fully learning Japanese, but provides a great start. Would be great if it had the recordings.
