"I sometimes deal with strange and taboo subject matter, but my stories are never dark and my characters are never victims (though some of them may pretend otherwise). MY ADVICE FOR NEW WRITERS:
If you want to make it as a writer you need to write, plain and simple. Set a daily goal for yourself and stick to it. If, let's say, you set your goal at 2,000 words per day, WRITE 2,000 words per day. It doesn't matter what you write. Some of my best works come from random craziness put down on paper.
Just remember, writing 10,000 words today does not give you permission to take the rest of the week off.
