To read this book is to savour the definitive history of a form of theatre that defined Western culture for decades, vaudeville. In this book, you will learn about the business giants, the artists and the audiences that both created and enjoyed vaudeville, and how its influence ultimately gave way to other forms.
About the author
Trav S.D. is top banana at the American Vaudeville Theatre. His writing has appeared in The Village Voice, American Theatre, Time Out New York, and Reason.
