An elementary teacher during the school year, Lily Grayson hires out as an au pair during the summer order to travel expenses-paid to exotic locations with wealthy families with children. When the drug lord Tony helped send to prison escapes, what started as a summer vacation in a tropical paradise soon becomes a race to survive in the jungles of Costa Rica.

Elle James was born in Spokane, Washington on Fairchild Air Force Base. She grew up as a military brat moving around quite often from places like Glasgow, Montana, Abilene, Texas and California. She credits her aspiration to her writing partner and sister, Delilah Devlin. She writes the series Dark Lords, Devil's Shroud, amd Covert Cowboys Inc.
