It was soooo awesome seeing some old friends. Hit the spot :) This is book 7 in the series and can be read as a stand alone, however I personally believe everything would be enhanced if you have read book 1-6. That being said Lily took the cake. A school teacher who knows Krav Maga. Yes! I want to be her friend. Its summer time and she hires on to watch Antonio's two children - in Costa Rica. Antonio is a widower due to the cartel. He is our handsome male, not so much an Alpha as a strong male. There is suspense, family, old friends, romance and some steam. All in all an enjoyable quick read I recommend. Thank you Elle James for the arc. All thoughts an opinions are my own.

Total Meltdown by Elle James is the seventh book in the Hellfire series and definitely worth reading. Lily Grayson works as a teacher during the school year and during her summer break she usually gets a job caring for children while their family travels. So she gets to do what she loves while enjoying different countries, but this year her job falls through and leaves her without summer plans. When one of her student's father, Antonio Delossantos needs a nanny to care for his children for a trip to Costa Rica so that he can check on his family owned and ran hotel, she decides that it sounds perfect for her summer plans. Antonio has enemies from the past in Costa Rica and soon Lily and his children are in danger and he will do anything to keep them safe. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more books in this series! I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

Lily Grayson is a kindergarten teacher during the year, au pair during the summer. When her job as an au pair falls through, Lily’s at a loss of what to do during the upcoming summer. As much as she loves her hometown, Hellfire, she doesn’t want to be stuck there during the summer. Lily wants to travel, enjoy new experiences, and see the world before she settles down. Antonio Delossantos, a lonely widower, is in need of a nanny for the summer. Tony, an extremely successful rancher/businessman, has no one to watch his kiddos for the summer as Rosa is ill and won’t be able to travel. When Tony goes to pick up his son from school, he meets Lily. Although she puts him in his place, he likes her determination and spunk. After witnessing her Krav Maga skills, Tony decides Lily is the perfect nanny for his children. So he makes her an offer she can’t refuse... While I have yet to read a novel in the Hellfire series, I can certainly vouch for this novel. It’s a well written, suspenseful, page-turning novel. I enjoyed Tony’s interactions with his children and his realization of all the time he’s “missed” with them while grieving the loss of his wife. Lily’s empathy, compassion, courage, and love shown towards Tony’s children was a huge plus for me. I also loved that the story didn’t feel rushed. I highly recommend this novel. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
