What a fantastic premise. The magic of romance combines with human nature in this quaint little town that I just can’t get enough of. Leonard has created a unique tale of love and parenthood, where marriage is a race. The town comes to life in a vivid manner while the characters and their stories captured my heart. Watching these two lovebirds come together was quite comical at times. The magic of Bridesmaid Creek was at war with the mistaken beliefs of the main characters, creating events and circumstances that were off the charts. Not only was the relationship between the two main characters unpredictable yet wildly romantic, they were fantastic individuals in their own rights. I loved John’s single-minded devotion. He put his all into everything he believed in. Daisy’s belief in the magic of the town was endearing, while her go-get-em attitude makes her really stand out. Surrounded by all the fantastic, and well developed, individuals in Bridesmaids Creek, Leonard has created a compelling cast to carry this story forward. Ok, I’ll admit, I’ve yet to read the first few novels in this series, but now I’m going back to read them. This story can easily be read as a standalone, but I’m hooked on the world that Leonard has created & I’m dying for more. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Finally, after much meandering, Daisy & John get married. Too many twists and turns but it all turned out OK.
