Harper Fontaine thought joining the Order of the Six was the hard part. Now, entangled in a treasure hunt led by Jack Cunningham, her chapter’s leader, she and her friends uncover secrets that challenge everything they believed about the Order. As hidden agendas come to light, Harper begins to wonder if she made a mistake by joining the secret society.

With a future stepmother on the horizon and her feelings for Valentina growing more complicated, tensions rise, leaving Harper unsure of who to lean on. As she inserts herself deeper into the Order, Harper faces trials of her own making, risking everything to uncover the truth. She must learn to ask for help—or face the consequences alone.

Harper and her friends must act quickly—because someone’s life may depend on it.

The second installment in the Rose + Compass series.

Edge of my seat...that's where I'm sitting, and have been pretty much throughout this book. Thank goodness I have the third one in the series to go straight into because I don't think my delicate heart could take the suspense. One thing I learned from the first book, dont start near bedtime because you'll stay up way too late, particularly if you suffer from fomo. Big ups to this author for riveting me to my chair. The saga continues...
