About this eBook

A missing boy, government agents, an interdimensional portal...

Mia has one goal for her senior year at Whispering Woods High—find her missing older brother. But when her science project reveals a portal into another dimension, she learns that travelers are moving in and out of her woods in the most alarming way and government agents Regulus and Arizona are policing their immigration. Mia’s drawn to the mysterious, aloof Regulus, but it’s no time for a crush. She needs to find out what they know about her brother, while the agents fight to save the world from viral contamination. But when Regulus reveals that he knows Mia’s secrets, she begins to wonder if there’s more going on than she thought...and if she was wrong to trust him...

Do not let the summary of this book fool you. It is so boring. This book is something close to 240 pages long. I have a theory. If you remove all of the pages that have nothing to do with the actual story line it would only be 25. This writer will spend 6 pages discribing the scenery that the characters see on the ride home but less than 3 paragraphs explaning how they got away from their enemies to get in the car in the first place. The characters just aren't believable. They are supposed to be teenagers but they talk like senior citizens. I've never in my life heard a 17 year old refer to music as " tunes". I could go on but they only give you a 1000 letters to write these things. To sum this up it's just bad writing. I very rarely do this but when I do it's usually to give the writer praise and tell them to keep doing what they're doing...this is a warning for the readers. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.

The very plot of the story is so imaginative yet intertwining that keeps the dreamy narration alive till end... The persistence of finding the missing brother who needs her help that she believes keeps her on her toes .. Someone anti-human discipline should be kept at a distance to protect human race is a novel concept.

I've never run into three chapters of previews before -- let alone for two different books. Trying too hard!
