A heartfelt, action-packed follow up to the first book in the Rise of the Grigori series by Talena winters! I think I loved this one even more than the first book, The Undine's Tear. We get to dive deeper into the history and the world of the Undines and the supernatural elements at play. The entire world is facing the threat of severe evil, and Winters ties in the different characters, places, and storylines revolving around this conflict beautifully. She writes about some tough stuff, but does so in a compassionate way without too many gory details. Filled with action, intriguing new (and old) characters, heartwrenching moments, and plenty of hope—I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves epic fantasy!
