"Ayodhya Prasad Gaur is a Corporate Communication professional, theater artist, avid traveler, motivational speaker and a writer who roams around constantly and stays in Jodhpur-the Blue City on weekends.
He started writing while pursuing his master’s degree at JNV University and later worked for regional and national newspapers including Hindustan Times.
He has been published in many national and regional magazines including India Today. He loves photography and his Nikon-SLR camera.
He has won the Jaycees Annual Award for the ‘Young Achiever of the year 2003’. Known for being associated with Theatre activities including Drama, Radio, TV Groups, etc. and managed a number of blogs / internet communities.
He has been recognised for gaining various awards for social journalism over the 10 year career and actively took part in over 70 Radio Dramas and Serials till date.
He holds the credit of acting in TV serials ‘Khushaboo Ka Safar’ and ‘Duvidha’ based on the stories of noted Rajasthani Writer - Vijay Dan Detha.
He is the Secretary of the Mahrishi Education Society and the Mahrishi International Award Committee. He is a founding member of the Jodhpur Press Club and Rajasthan Heritage and Nature Society (RAJHANS).
He holds the credit of implementing projects like Theatre in Education and Community Radio Programmes across Rajasthan. He was involved in research work in Thar Desert on environmental issues in arid and semi-arid regions. He was a resource person for the National Geographic Channel’s team for their special tv documentary on “Water”.
He was actively associated as Visiting Faculty at Management and Mass Communications Institutes. He is an invited speaker with the Hindu Business Line Club- an initiative of The Hindu- leading newspaper group. In this role, he has delivered lecture at renowned institutes including Pacific Institute of Management, Amity University, JNV University, Banasthali Vidhyapeeth and the University of Udaipur.
