Mommaleena aka Saleena Chamberlin
Romantic Comedy Romance author Kelsey Spencer was in Vegas along with everyone else for the romance convention. If you wanted to break into the industry, the Comic Con of the romance genre was definitely the place to do it. She loved sitting at a signing hearing as one reader after another gushed about how the books made them feel, but she knew it was all a fantasy. That kind of love didn't really exist. Aaron Grant flew to Vegas to rescue his little sister Jasmine from doing something stupid, something she'd regret the rest of her life. They both worked for their father's company and if she didn't return to work before Monday, their father would fire her! Jasmine came to Vegas for the romance convention to see her favorite writers, one specifically being Kelsey F***ing Spencer (as she named her), to get her book signed, and blow off some steam. Kelsey and Aaron end up running around Vegas trying to keep Jasmine from marrying Reid one of the book cover models. While doing this, they end up hooking up, you know the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!" But does that motto really ring true? Can what they feel not follow them back home to Texas? Also are they successful in stopping Jasmine? You'll have to read THE RIGHT KIND OF GUY to find out. This romantic comedy is a quick read, but a definite must read! It'll have you laughing as well as shaking your head at some of the antics that happen. I received an ARC copy via Tasty Book Tours through NetGalley in exchange for a blog tour review. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 17 and older!

Romance is the underdog of literary fiction. Many may not take the genre seriously, but the evidence doesn't lie, it's a juggernaut. Part of the reason why is because of the ability it has to branch out into other genres and deliver charming and mysterious characters Another reason is because the authors have no problem with making light of themselves. The Right Kind of Guy is the perfect prototype for romance. The cynical heroine brings humour to balance out the overly serious hero. A Vegas romance conference and an over the top romantic adventure make for hysterically tempting pleasure.

The Vegas Romance Writers convention comes to a close with a witty tongue in cheek story of a romance writer, Kelsey Spencer, who wants to go into a different direction with her writing and super sexy brother of her biggest fan. Kelsey meets Aaron Grant as he dogs his sister at the convention trying to keep her from making a huge mistake. The hilarious banter and jabs at the industry itself make this one very entertaining read. Their chemistry is off the charts and while they make fun of the "insta-love" found in romance novels, they themselves are caught up in a whirlwind romance. This one was fun to read and it kept me chuckling all the way through. Definitely a book I recommend to everyone.
