The main character is very hard to like, she's snippy towards friends and family and often times overtly rude. You have to keep focusing on the mystery and not how much you dislike her. Overall the writer does an ok job of conveying the despair of all the characters is a terrible situation.

I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what happened to all the characters. I thought it was well written and I loved the way the author could change how I felt about the characters during the course of the book. Was kept on edge up to the last page. At times I thought it could have moved a bit quicker. Will definitely be trying another of her books soon.
