Wonderful plot and beautifully told. It kept me guessing and I was continually surprised and pleased. So different from Peter Pan, but like it certain ways. The main characters, Babbie and Gavin, were so richly and meaningfully painted. I was delighted and instructed throughout. The Scottish working class characters came to life and provided comic and poignant delight and meaning. More than all this, it is a deep, true, and moving story of true sacrificial love such as I rarely see these days.
