Acerca de este libro electrónico

"Fee!" he said, and "Fi!" he said, and "Fo!" he said and "Fum!"

Look out children, the Giant of Jum is grumpy and hungry and he's off in search of a tasty snack. And the tastiest of all is a boy called Jack! But Jack and his friends don't see a scary giant, they see a magically tall man - a man who can fetch lost balls and rescue cats from trees! Perhaps this hungry giant is softer than he seems...

An incredible rhyming text and a brilliant, big-hearted twist on a classic fairy tale, from the uniquely talented author and poet, Elli Woollard, and award-winning illustrator, Benji Davies.

The Giant of Jum also contains an important message for all: don't eat kids, eat cake!

Acerca del autor

Elli Woollard is an exciting new talent on the picture books scene, who started writing stories after an embarrassing incident in which her youngest son broke Michael Rosen's glasses. In addition to picture books, she also writes children's poems. Her snappy rhymes, catchy rhythms and witty stories are sure to make her a huge success. The Giant of Jum is her first book for Macmillan. Elli lives in London with her four children, her husband and two guinea pigs.

Benji Davies is an award-winning children's illustrator and animation director. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, from music videos to animated films, as well as novelty and picture books. His books have sold all over the world in many different languages, and in 2014 he was awarded the Oscar's First Book Prize and was shortlisted for Booktrust's Best Book Awards. His books for Macmillan include WINSTON WAS WORRIED. Benji lives in East London.
