This memoir is written by a technocrat who in his mid-40s, decided to record his life journey until now, by bringing together and interweaving multiple layers and different strands of episodes and experiences that make up his life. The memoir begins with his roots and the trials that have deeply impacted him and his family through generations, passed down through storytelling and memory. He is deeply engaged in technology and constantly searches the intangible world of divinity for larger answers to life. It is a compelling narrative that holds out hopes for humanity in the midst of strife and struggle, offering insights to heal hearts with love and peace.
Despre autor
Prashant Gupta, or PG, is an award-winning internet innovator, India policy advisor and community leader with more than two decades of experience in driving connected empowerment and improving lives of marginalized population. PG began his career in America as an immigrant contributing to success of global technology platforms, starting with transformation of cell phone into a mobile information device including the Motorola Razr and then a decade in building Microsoft Azure cloud, the world's computer. In 2012, PG co-founded Microsoft Accelerator for Startups, a joint effort between India, Israel, and China R&D centers becoming one of the leading startup mentoring programs as it graduated many successful tech businesses. On return to India, PG introduced one of the country's first AI for Social Good stack as part of the Digital India in 2015-16 touching millions of lives by bringing back dropouts to school education, scaling preventive health screenings to reduce disease burden, and helping farmers increase their income through climate-smart agriculture. The work has been cited in the National Strategy on AI by Government of India, the US Government, UN Agencies and the World Economic Forum. PG has also advised multiple state government programs on development and served as President of Illinois-based non-profit, in the United States, to serve rural communities. With this memoir, PG has articulated the philosophy of collective well-being; it's a conscious reflection from his own experiences of setting up global health consortia in cardiology, eye care, and pathology, cross-border collaborations in sustainability during covid-19 pandemic and completing 108 interfaith pilgrimages across five continents. PG holds a MS degree from the University of Florida and an MBA in Marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a recipient of the IEEE Larry K. Wilson Award for Asia-Pacific region, the Lt. Governor Gold Medal at the University of Delhi College of Engineering in 1998, and the Alumni Trailblazer Award in 2018.
