Jack London, born in 1876 in San Francisco, California, was a novelist, journalist and social activist. He is most well-known for his novels The Call of the Wild and White Fang.

Vince Reid is an illustrator and cartoonist, who aspires to give any narrative strong characters, humour and colour. He has had works published by Hodder, Macmillan, Oxford University Press and Pearson.
