Raw Redemption

Wow, just, wow. This is a very sexy telling of Vance's story. In it we learn more about his disgrace that led him to being on the "misfit" squad. He remains obsessed with Ailish and goes in search of her. He finds her, but also, he finds himself. Their story isn't pretty, but it is very gritty and raw and told in an explicit way. Very, very hot and sexy, but also a great plot interspersed with bits of humor. While reading this, I kept wondering what the author would do in the next book in the series, as this one would be hard to top, to then read that this is the final book in two series. Noooooooooooo! I feel like I've gotten to know the characters in the two series, especially as they keep appearing in subsequent books, and will miss them. I've loved each book in both series, so while I'm sad, I can't wait to see what the author writes next. This is where I'd normally state that this is a stand alone book and, technically, it is, but you really need to read the others to appreciate this novel.

Hot, hot, hot. I love this book. The best of both series. Sad that it ended but it went out with a bang!
