‘The single most influential spokesperson for organic psychedelics’ The Independent

What can altered states of consciousness reveal about our origins and our place in nature?

In this landmark piece of psychedelic literature renowned ethnobotanist and psychonaut Terence McKenna explores our ancient relationship with organic psychedelics and opens a doorway to a higher state of being for us all.

An odyssey of mind, body and spirit, Food of the Gods is one of the most fascinating and surprising histories of consciousness ever written. All fantastic however McKenna referenced an eye test on psilocybin by someone who is dead many years(starts with an F, not sure how to spell it). Apparently it was a lie and the dead guy can't complain lol. McKenna mentions in a talk how even when it comes to him like everything else, everything should be questioned. His ape theory is not a theory but rather a hypothesis. It makes a good argument and should be talked about to understand fundamentals of the human experience.
