Amazing book, you get to know the characters right off the bat, Jess, Conlan, Jack and Jess's best friend and her husband Chris and Steven. Its an amazing read. The thing that saves Jess is what's close to her heart and in her mind is what helps her cope when she is kidnapped. Wow! can't wait to read the rest of the series.

The characters are literally to die for and willing to die for one another. Jess, Conlan, Chris, Jack, others in JCL Security. Tender and romantic Jess and Conlan fantasize about each other until a nasty incident occurs in the parking lot by the Coffee Shop. Brit, Chris' ex-boyfriend, gives her a rough time as she attempts to head for work. An intervention rescues her for the moment. However Bret's smooth looks and family wealth camouflage his brutal nature.

This one's a keeper. Characters that come alive on the page, bad guys you can't wait to see get theirs, HEA and no cliffhangers. Nice bit of steam and managable amount of angst (though some may be triggering). This author is going straight on my favourites list!!! Very happy reader 😁😊😀
