To celebrate the SEALs’ 55th anniversary, the new “civilian PR person” has decided to write an article on Poseidon, in which the SEAL Team 7 is included. Chief Petty Officer Aaron Ward is the unlucky chosen one; he doesn’t like to talk, especially not to the press, and he will not say anything of consequence, but the lovely PR person, Bryanna Radisson changes all that. NIGHT MANEUVERS is a prequel to the new SEAL Brotherhood series by Tawny Weber, and long-time fans will not be disappointed. NIGHT MANEUVERS is a short novella which, in addition to Aaron and Bryanna’s story, also serves as an introduction to the characters that will be featured in upcoming books. Aaron doesn’t believe Bryanna can do the job properly, and tries by any way to dissuade her, but she is not to be distracted – not all the time! – from her goal. There is definitely instalust, but even given the length of this novella, the romance progresses at a satisfactory speed. As is always the case with Ms. Weber, there is the familiar banter and ribbing from the SEAL teammates, great dialogue, sexy times, and great writing. NIGHT MANEUVERS might be short, but it has it all! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This short novella does a wonderful job of introducing us to the SEAL Team Poseidon while giving us a great love story. All of the SEALs are hotties. All of them silent heroes. Few have a permanent woman in their lives. When they are notified that a reporter is planning a story about them, Aaron is volunteered to meet with the reporter and change her mind. Not in his skills set. Okay, he'd take one for the team. Little did he know just how true that would be. Bryanna is speechless meeting Aaron. Eventually, they match wits, her trying to get info, he offering no information. When all else fails, sex is a great detractor. Great sex. Now, what? Little did either realize how they'd feel after! Aaron certainly didn't know about her connections. Can they get past the obstacles? This one is steamy, has witty characters, and dialogue, and makes the reader anxious for more stories with these hot guys. Can't wait to see who the mind of Tawny Weber dreams up for this team. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

I enjoyed this prequel to Tawny Weber's new series. We get to know some of the cast of characters to come. We already can get the sense of the SEAL brotherhood. Aaron thinks Bryanna is going to put that in jeopardy when he's task to make sure this journalist doesn't out their identity in the new PR feature. Aaron is in for a big surprise when is comes to Byranna because is not going to be what Aaron expected. Things get quite steamy between these two,but will Aaron sabotage it before they can make a go of it? This was a nice quick read to introduce us the the new series.
