About the author

Tanya Lloyd Kyi is the award-winning author of more than thirty books for children and young adults. She often writes about science, history, and activism. Tanya's recent titles include Our Green City, What Will I Discover? and Bompa's Insect Expedition, co-written with David Suzuki. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Julia Kyi is a student and youth activist. Julia is an avid user of Instagram and a believer in the power of social media to make positive change. She is a co-founder of The Daily Feminist, an organization that offers resources and workshops for feminist education. She’s planning to complete a social justice degree before applying to law school. Julia lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Vivian Rosas is a Toronto based queer Mestizx/Latinx multidisciplinary artist who seeks to explore themes of feminism, empowerment and diversity within her work. Her goal is to create imagery that expresses a sense of inclusiveness for underrepresented communities. Her practices include illustration, murals and dance.
